Hi, I'm just dropping some info for Mr. Paul in case he doesn't know...

The next release of Ubuntu (slated for October 10) is planning on housing for-pay software. Mayhaps it would do well to include Ardour in that section?

I don't know if that would be worth it since technically any Ubuntu/Debian packager can just upload Ardour in the repositories but maybe you could strike a deal with Canonical.
