Edit Groups - How?

I can't seem to wrap my mind around Edit Groups.
I created with the + sign in the "Edit Groups TAB":
"Kit" ( has 5 tracks same length)
"Percussion" ( has 7 tracks same length)
How do I associate what I wrote / with the actual tracks?????? I am certain that is super easy for everyone else to understand... but not here..... Sorry. Kindly explain Thanks so much!

Thanks, I had more then 30 tracks and in smaller height - therefor I could not see the G button. I really appreciate your reply.
Look on the track headers and use the "G" button to assign each track to the associated group.
