Playhead carries on past end marker

Pressing 'Home' gets me straight to the start marker and hitting "End" gets me to the end marker. But the playhead doesn't stop at the end marker. Normally it does. Punch in and Punch out don't seem to affect the behaviour.
Is there anything obvious I'm missing that would cause this? Have I toggled something somewhere?
I'm on 2.8.6
After looking intermittently for the past day, giving up and posting this I found it. Weird, I don't remember ever switching it off (or touching anything nearby)
Options -> Misc Options -> Stop transport at session end
